Enrolment process for 2022
How to enrol
Following the initial enquiry about St Brigid's Catholic School, an information pack and application form will be either emailed or posted out to you. Otherwise click here to access the downloadable Enrolment Form.
Please return the Enrolment Form (one for each sibling, regardless of age) along with a copy of the Baptismal Certificate (where relevant), a copy of their Birth Certificate and the non-refundable Enrolment fee of $50 per child to the school.
A receipt and letter will be sent in reply, acknowledging lodgement of forms.
Your interview
For children commencing Reception, approximately 12-18 months prior to a child's official start time, parents/caregivers and their child will be invited to attend an interview.
Formal acceptance of your offer
Following the interview, if your child is accepted, you will receive an "Offer of Acceptance" confirming placement. This Formal Acceptance along with a $100.00 non-refundable Acceptance Fee per child, must be returned to the school within 14 days to ensure a position is held.
Once received, the Registrar will acknowledge in writing the receipt of Acceptance. More detailed information will be received from the school outlining:

- Parent Information Meetings
- Uniform Information

Evanston Campus 2023 and Beyond
Xavier College Evanston Campus from 2023
The South Australian Commission for Catholic Schools (SACCS) in November 2021 approved the amalgamation of St Brigid’s Catholic School with Xavier College to form Xavier College R-12.
Reception to Year 6 will be located at our Evanston Campus and Years 7 to 12 at our existing Gawler Belt Campus from the start of the 2023 school year.
In 2022 work is continuing on the preparations for the amalgamation. This will provide a seamless pathway from Primary to Secondary Education and unique educational opportunities, spanning early years, primary and secondary education.

Enrolment Application
To request an Application for Enrolment please complete our Online Enrolment Enquiry.
Applications will only be accepted if the Application for Enrolment Form is completed, the non-refundable Application Fee of $50 is paid and the supporting documents as listed below and on the Application for Enrolment Form are submitted:
- Official Birth Certificate
- NAPLAN
- Latest School Report/Reference from previous school
- Baptismal Certificate
- Custody Order/Parenting plan
- Special needs Documentation
- VISA (Passport if from a country other than Australia)
Application is then processed and if a position is available, you and your child will be invited to an Enrolment Interview.
You will be notified of an Enrolment Offer by letter as soon as possible after the interview. Your Enrolment will be finalised upon receipt of all signed Acceptance Documentation and the payment of the non-refundable Enrolment Acceptance Fee of $150. Submitting this Application for Enrolment does not guarantee a position at the College.
